IMPORTANT NOTE: new player's age limit

As many teams asked, and in order to extend the opportunity to participate to more players, we decided to modify the age eligibility limit as follows:

Category 40 and over: every team can include up to 3 (three) players age 35-39 to its roster (age considered to 31/december/2011)

Category 50 and over: every team can include up to 3 (three) players age 45-49 to its roster (age considered to 31/december/2011)

This way, we consider that teams will be able to register more players for this tournament, or that some teams will not be split away, because some veterans leagues on different countries use different age ranges.

The Cancun Senior Cup is the first amateur football tournament for veterans categories (over 40 years old), organized for amateur teams from all around the world. With this tournament, Futtrip offers the opportunity of spending some incredible holidays in Cancun and sharing them with friends and family at the same time while taking part of the sports tournament.

The second edition of Cancun Senior Cup will be held from September 11 to 16, 2011 to be divided into two categories:

• Over 40 years old
• Over 50

The tournament is sponsored by the Football Association of the State of Quintana Roo and it is played in the modality of Football 11 with fields complying with FIFA official requirements, with referees from the Football Association of the State of Quintana Roo. The participating teams and their companions will have all services and comfort to enjoy the excitement of this tournament and to spend some fantastic holidays in the Mexican Caribbean.
